William Morgan
William Morgan’s extensive involvement as a civic leader in Statesville over the years has included service on the City Council from 2013-22, serving as Mayor Pro Tempore for his final four years on the Council; serving as a Member of the Statesville Planning Board; a Board Member for Big Brothers/Big Sisters; on the Campaign Committee for the United Way; a Board Member of the Dove House; a Past President of the Fourth Creek Rotary Club; a Board Member of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce; and a youth soccer coach.
William is the CEO of the Capital Management Group of the Carolinas, a wealth management firm. He serves as a Member of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina and was a Member of the Tax and Finance Committee of the North Carolina League of Municipalities.
William is a graduate of Wake Forest University and has done graduate course work at The American College of Business and the UNC School of Government. He is married to his wife, Tina, and has one adult daughter, Margaret. The Morgans are members of Statesville First Presbyterian Church, where William previously served as a Deacon.
